Where the river really meets the rocks...

This is truly a great find in Shady Cove. For all the rock enthusiasts,
and those that are just curious, make sure that you stop by and see
Ruth. There is never any pressure and you will meet a friend on
your visit to Oregon. With over 23 years of experience in this
same location, she must be doing something right!
Ruth's husband was always interested in all facets of hunting, finding, and cutting into rocks to see what treasure was inside. While on a road trip, he just happened to come across an established Rock Shop. Guess what, it was for sale! He told Ruth about the shop and they were on the move to Shady Cove. Funny thing is, she thought the shop was in Union Creek, so she said yes. She loved Union Creek when she had come to Oregon on prior vacations. Oops, he forgot to tell her! After moving here, Ruth fell in love with Shady Cove. After her husband passed on, she had acquired the knowledge from her husband to keep the dream going. There are items priced for everyone from 75 cents on up. If you are looking to take home a piece of Oregon at a great price, make sure you stop on by. Ruth states that people will stop at the Shady Cove Rock & Gift Shop on their way to Crater Lake. The same people then and stop on the way back. They explain to her that they could not afford to purchase a rock at Crater Lake because of the prices, and end up purchasing the same type rock at Shady Cove Rock & Gift Shop...For Less! You will find everything that you are looking for from books, geos, belt buckles, grit, tumblers, desk sets, pendants, fossils, bookends, Oregon rocks, minerals, wind chimes, rock beads, and all the supplies that you need to create your own work of art. Located at: 22074 Hwy. 62, Shady Cove |
