Winter Snowshoe Hikes is going on right now up until April.  Crater Lake offers Free, Ranger-Guided Snowshoe Hikes every Saturday & Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The hikes cover a mile of moderately difficult terrain through forest, meadows and along the crater's rim, and last for about 90 minutes.  This is so much fun and great exercise.  If you don't have snowshoes, they will provide them free of charge, so you don't have any excuse. If we can do it, so can you.  Try it, you'll like it!  You do have to make a reservation, so call them as soon as possible at: 541-594-3100 for more information.

Enjoy the Winter Outdoors....

The 2nd Annual Thrifty Fashion Show and Tea will be taking place on Saturday, May 9th at 2:00.  This event will be held at the Shady Cove Gym.  Kids buy outfits at the local thrift stores and then model them.  The audience enjoys the fashion show while having tea and cookies served to them by the students.  There is no admission charge but donations are accepted.

Local business sponsor tables for $25.00, or $35.00 each.  The difference in the price of the sponsorship is for the kids that can not even afford to purchase items at the Thrift Stores.

All the tables are decorated by the students.  Each table has the sponsor’s business cards, and items pertaining to their business on the table.  All sponsors are included in the advertising, as well.  They are listed in the program for everyone to take home.  Last year this event was a very big success.  Help support the community by attending
